I’ve shifted my blog. Thought it was time for a new look. Though I can’t afford to get a cool website like Yvonne’s, the least I could do is to update my blog and tada! Here it is!
I am so pleased with WordPress. The last time I tried it out, I found it so complicated. Besides, it was very difficult to transfer the contents from Blogger over here. But now WordPress has streamlined their processes and everything is so easy. I’m very impressed with WordPress. Please bear with me as I “unpack” and “refurbish” the house.
What I like about this blog.
1. It’s easy to use. I’m spared the headache of designing my own webpages. Though it’s in a blog format, it has the versatility to display pages as non-blog entries. Filing blog posts in categories is just a click away.
2. It’s F-R-E-E!!

Oh Wow! Congratulations! Am I the first to toast you with champayne? Pop! Pop! Cheers to your new home. I like it!

Blinka.li, I hope so…
KT, The new house is free, nice and big. Now if only there’s time, you also can do itlah… No time, also can, but something must give.
Eyeriz, You can just import from Blogger and if you’re lazy, no need to categorize all your old entries lor.
KK, new name, easier to type than p3p4, phew. Cheers.

Wow! Lydia. I’m impressed with your new look!! Are you coming for the KL Marathon?

Wow. I like! I looked up wordpress first as well. The layout is really nice and the fact that you can create categories is great. Its just that you cant really track visitors based on location, even if you have sitemeter. That’s the fun part of blogging from me. To see random ppl from Tarzana and Venlo come by. Unless you’ve got around it?

Runwitme, Thanks. No-lah, not a runner like you
Keep running. Saw your pix in the Star Metro sometime back.
Jane, You’re right there. It’s fun to see where visitors are coming from. I’ve checked the Help section of WordPress, sitemeters don’t work here. WordPressers have to be content with WP’s own blog stats
Tarzana and Venlo??

Hi Lydia!
Cool! Once you’re on WordPress, others pale in comparison no? I love using WordPress coz like you said, it’s simple and the interface is really designer-inspired. Love the blue!!! But I managed to get back all my Comments, thanks to the backing up and I am back on a roll. Cheers and like someone said, pop the cork!

Jane, I was mistaken. Yes, Sitemeter can be installed on WordPress blogs! Just log on to Sitemeter and you’ll see the option there.
Maya, Thanks. So many functions on WP. How to log in to access php files or fiddle with html codes? Anyone can help?

I meant the background…haaaa! I think you look better in the old photo. However, this photo has got the arty ocean blue background and ur blue scarf which matches the new wordpress site. Wonder why Art Chen made you fold ur arms.

Allyfeel, aisay and I thought you meant me! Haha, kena pulak. The ocean blue background is in the Delicious cafe in Ms Read in One U. I don’t know why this fixation with folding arms. The studio pix (the one on my book cover) also has arms folded. That pix looked even better cos got touch-up mah.

Sharon, WordPress is definitely more user-friendly now than it was 5 or 6 months ago but on this score I think it still loses out to Blogger. However, WordPress’s categories is really cool and they’ve made it so easy for Bloggers to migrate to them with the import facility.
Anyone interested in Sharon’s offer? Pls contact Bibliobibuli directly.
